Tip #1: Copying a URL into a Message

If your customer wants to share a specific website with a friend, he doesn’t have to leave the browser. From MEdia™ Net, just press the Options soft key, then choose Copy URL to Message > Send To, enter the person’s phone number, and press Send.

Tip #2: Organizing IM Conversations
Press the Message button on the phone.
Use the Navigation key to highlight IM and press .
Press the Select soft key.
Use the Navigation key to highlight Settings and press .
Use the Navigation key to highlight Sort Contact List By and press .
Use the Navigation key to highlight either Alphabet or Status, and press the Select soft key.

Tip #3: Shortcut to Address Book

To quickly access the address book, press and hold the lower part of the four-way navigation wheel.

Tip #4: Playing Music

Your customers can play their music through the phone or through Bluetooth® headsets. To change the setting to headsets, select Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Music Player Settings > Play via. Highlight Bluetooth Headset and save.

Tip #5: Replaying GPS Audio Instructions

If your customer missed an audio GPS instruction, have them press the space key to replay.

Tip #6: Adjusting Brightness and Zoom Levels

After pressing the Camera key, use the left and right Navigation key to adjust brightness, and use the up and down Navigation key to adjust zoom levels.

Tip #7: Watching a CV Clip

Press the CV key. Once connected, select the desired program options and press . Select the individual clip and press to view.

Tip #8: Shopping for Ringtones

The ringtones option lets your customers shop for ringtones using the built-in browser. From the home screen, select Menu > MEdia Mall > Ringtones. Follow the on-screen options. When ready to purchase a ringtone, press .

Tip #9: UR Tones

The Make UR Tones menu lets your customers create customized ringtones from full-track songs. Select Menu > AT&T Music > Make UR Tones. Use the up or down key to make your selection. Follow the onscreen options, then press to purchase the song. When the song is purchased, use the Navigation keys to edit the ringtone and press to download this ringtone to the handset.

Tip #10: Search for Phone Number During a Call

To search for a phone number in the address list during a call, press Options > Address Book, highlight the entry, and press the View soft key, or enter the first few letters of the contact in the search field, highlight the correct selection, and press the View soft key.

Tip #11: My Stuff Shortcut

Press the left Navigation key from the home page to access My Stuff.

Tip #12: Setting Phone To and From Silent Mode

To set the phone to Vibrate, simply press the vibrating phone icon on the bottom right-hand side of the QWERTY keyboard. Press and hold to return the phone to the Normal profile.
