post here shows a video about how to remove the security limitations and enable registry edits. After the registry is unlocked, a component is removed which will enable the AT&T MEdia Net Internet Sharing capabilities.

The first step of removing the security limitations is to download the ClearSecurity file.
• Next, connect the Samsung Jack to the computer and move the file to the device through ActiveSync.
• Install ClearSecurity and launch Microsoft’s Security Configuration Manager.
• Select Security Off from the drop down menu and click the Provision button, the program will install a file called Tool.
• Run a registry editor program like Total Commander or Mobile Registry Editor and delete the file ForceCellConnection from: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Comm>InternetSharing>Settings.

Before setting up the speed dial entry for your samsung eterynity, please be Note that the only traditional speed dial number that functions is number 1 for voicemail. Press on Dial then press and hold down the number 1 key to check your voicemail. However, once you have stored phone numbers in the Address Book , you can add them to your Favorites list for quick dialing.

To add contacts to your favorites list follow the steps below: AT&T Samsung Eternity info
From the standby screen, press Contacts
Press the Contacts drop down arrow, located in the top right corner, then press Favorites
Press Add then press the desired Contact
Continue step 3 until all Favorites have been added

To quickly place calls to your Favorites follow the steps below:
From the standby screen, press Contacts
Press the Contacts drop down arrow, located in the top right corner, then press Favorites
Press green phone icon to the right of the desired Contact to place the call
