According to news article on BGR, the RIM just announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The new RIM blackberry bold 9700 would be avaiable for AT & T subscriber since Nov!, Not only AT & T, but also the T-mobile, Rogers will carry the blackberry bold 9700 device.

AT & T will sold blackberry bold 9700 for $199.99 after a $100 MIR and based on 2-year agreement, which is as same as the T-mobile’s pricing, well,. while Rogers will be asking for $299.99 on a 3-year contract with a monthly minimum voice and data plan of $45. Bell and TELUS have yet to come forward with pricing but have confirmed they will be carrying the device.

Yes you can ,but Caller ID’s are only available for Contact entries stored in the handset’s memory, not on the SIM card

1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Menu
2. Select Address Book (8)
3. Select Contact List (1)
4. Highlight the desired Contact entry, stored in the
   handset’s memory, using
   the navigation keys
5. Press the left soft key for Options
   then select View (1)
6. Press the left soft key for Options
   then select Edit (1)
7. Highlight Picture ID (Not Assigned), using the navigation keys,
   then press the OK key for Change
8. Select one of the following:
   • Take Photo (1)
     • Press the OK key to take the picture
   • My Photos (2)
   • Downloaded Grapghics (3)
   • Default Image (4)
   • Not Assigned (5)
9. Highlight the desired photo or image, using the navigation keys
10. Press the left soft key for Select or Options then choose Select (2)
11. Press the left soft key to Save the Contact changes
