As one of the best selling AT & T phones, the Smartphone Jack catch more eyes of USA consumers!. someone in the Jack forum ask how to disable the message alerts… while i think it is common need, when you want to a slient Jack during a conference, you want to turn off the message alert during the Jack slience mode.

Ok now here it is the tips guide steps by sptes.

1. From the home screen,
   press the left soft key for Start
2. Press the left soft key for More
3. Press the left soft key for More again
4. Select Settings
5. Select Sounds (2)
6. Select Other Sounds
   (2)
7. Highlight each of the
   alerts listed then use the navigation
   key to change to none
8. Press the left soft
   key for Done to save the audible alert settings
9. Press the home
   key
    to
   return to the home screen
